Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, has been a golfer’s paradise since its beginning in 1970. But golf is just one of the many things to love about the largest private, gated community in North America. While not an exclusively 55+ community, Hot Springs Village caters to active adults who are in their retirement years in search of a fun, active lifestyle.

Our naturally beautiful mountain views, lush forests and sparkling lakes leave a lasting impression on visitors and residents. Our nine courses provide 171 holes of golf. Plus, we have 11 recreational lakes, two lakeside beaches, 13 tennis courts, 14 pickleball courts, 30 miles of walking trails and much more.

Two full-service marinas make it easy to get your boat on the water. The fishing is fantastic throughout Hot Springs Village. Our lakes are stocked with bass, catfish, sunfish, crappie, walleye and other species. You’ll also find plenty of water sports on our lakes, including water skiing, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming. And our beaches are perfect for picnicking, grilling or just getting your feet wet.

In Hot Springs Village you’ll always have the opportunity to explore new ways to live an active lifestyle - from our recreational amenities to entertainment, dining, clubs, churches, and our beautiful natural surroundings. Location, Location, Location

We are just less than 5 miles to one of the full-service marinas (lake Desoto), 10 miles to Lake Ouachita, a 20-minute drive from historic Hot Springs and 45 minutes from Little Rock, Arkansas’s capital city. Outdoor adventure,  many attractions and cosmopolitan amenities are all close by. Arkansas is in the Top 10 in the nation for the lowest real estate property taxes in the US. Combined with low taxes, low housing costs and 4 distinct seasons, Hot Springs Village is a great choice to live, work and/or play.  Lake Ouachita has lots of scuba dive sites with visibility that ranges from 35' or more under ideal conditions (usually early spring and late fall) to 3 - 5' under adverse conditions. Generally the Eastern half of the lake (nearer the dam) will be clearest.
